Our Story

Starting from the ground up, owner Meena Lee started over 20 years ago as a back of the house banquet waitress, working her way up and moving into a restaurant management position. After receiving her degree in communication design, she then began working for the University of Connecticut as an art director, helping to plan and create all aspects of conferences and fundraising events. From there NYC based 5th Avenue Weddings was born; a wedding and event planning company.  After several years in the industry Meena's clients returned and began to ask for help with events outside of the wedding world. Meena has now combined her strong skills of planning and design into one large company to help even the most demanding clients create events that are cohesive and functional; representing their brand in the event world.

5th Avenue Events are looked to time and again because every piece of the experience is branded with creativity. With your Manhattan event planner no detail is left to others, we are one of the few companies that combine planning, design and management all in house for your product launch, office party, video release, or award show.  We love creating memorable events, and seeing them come to life.
